Lin Johnson

Strength.  Character.  Grace.  Enthusiasm.  Integrity.  Intelligence.  Those six words can be used to describe the co-founder of Boot Camp Fitness, Lin Johnson.  Considered the brains behind the brawn and the yin to husband and business partner Jay Johnson's yang, Lin possess a rare blend of physical strength and intellectual might.  Coupled with years of rigorous training through the United States Army, Lin is uniquely qualified to motivate, encourage and train individuals and groups.

While fulfilling the role of mother and wife, she is also one-half of the most dynamic and effective fitness company in the country, Boot Camp Fitness.  As the only full-time partner in the boot camp business, Lin manages the day-to-day business operations, marketing, recruiting - and still finds the time to develop curriculum, fine-tune class strategy and conduct daily boot camp class sessions.

In addition to her busy duties as a Boot Camp Fitness instructor and business operations manager, Lin also assists Jay with the fitness training of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.  Lin is responsible for developing the fitness routines that make the cheerleaders to America's Team the most recognizable spirit squad in the world.

Recognizing the need of woman empowerment, Lin also volunteers at the Genesis Women’s Shelter, and speaks to various women’s groups about the importance of physical fitness and eating healthy.  She encourages women to reach high and to get motivated to be the best they can be mentally and physically.

Lin also has been featured on a number of television programs to include Country Music Television’s “I Want To Look like a High School Cheerleader Again”, CMT’s hit show – “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders – Making the Squad” season’s 1,2,3 and 4, ABC’s Wife Swap, HBO’s Hard Knocks, and ABC’s Evening News.  Along with husband Jay, Lin is a regular fitness contributor to WFAA-TV 8 (ABC) Good Morning Texas and has been a regular fitness expert on TXA 21’s Primetime News.

Lin is a Co-Chairperson to Community Health Charities, a member of the DFW’s US Army Recruiting Board, Executive Producer, Writer, and Featured on Jay Johnson’s 9-week Boot Camp DVD series, Certified Life Coach, Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer.  She has a BA in Human Resource Management and served in the US Army as a Finance Specialist for 5 years.

Lin and her husband Jay are Christ followers and she is a dedicated wife, mother, soldier, and entrepreneur.
